First United Bank is accepting applications for a Credit Analyst Intern in our Lubbock Banking Center.
Job Duties:
The Credit Analyst Intern will learn and assist with the general duties of the credit analyst department which include helping the credit analysts with monitoring loan covenants, interim construction monitoring, spreading financial statements, debt and deposit summaries for customers, ordering appraisals, and other duties as assigned. The intern will be able to experience a glimpse of the credit analyst program at First United Bank, which serves as an officer development program.
Other Important Information:
- The internship is a paid position
- The intern will work a maximum of 30 hours per week
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have an interest in a career in banking
- Degree in Accounting, Agribusiness, Ag Economics, Economics or Finance preferred
- 6 hours of accounting classes preferred
- Must currently be enrolled in college to be considered and must be enrolled for college in Spring 2025
- Must be familiar with PCs and PC software, specifically Excel and Word
- Demonstrated above average written and oral communication skills
- Ability to logically organize and interpret information from multiple sources
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, dependability and thoroughness in meeting responsibilities, and willingness to seek out and accept responsibilities
- Participates in job specific training, various bank training programs, and complies with BSA, AML and all bank policies and procedures as required
