Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a commitment to early childhood education and the ability to engage with children in a meaningful way.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Provide individualized support to children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements.
- Foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration.
- Monitor children's progress and behavior, implementing behavior management strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of each child's development and communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress.
- Ensure the health and safety of all students by adhering to first aid protocols and maintaining a clean classroom environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in caregiving, childcare, babysitting, or nannying is preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a high school degree
- Must pass a fingerprint background check
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred but not mandatory at the time of hiring; training can be provided.
- Excellent communication skills, patience, and a genuine love for working with young children are essential for success in this role.
