Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our team. As a Infant Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children and fostering their development. You will create a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
Duties:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
- Provide a variety of learning experiences through play, storytelling, arts and crafts, music, and outdoor activities
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and creativity
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational program
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and other relevant documentation
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to provide updates on their child's development
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred but not required
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or educational setting
- Knowledge of child welfare regulations and best practices in early childhood education
- Familiarity with early intervention strategies for children with special needs
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents or guardians, and colleagues
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Ability to provide age-appropriate care for toddlers
