What are the responsibilities and job description for the Childcare Provider position at First United Methodist Church?
Come join our First United Methodist Church LBK Kids staff! We are seeking individuals who are passionate about pouring into children ages infant to 5th grade! First Kids staff are scheduled to work Sunday mornings, 2-3 Friday Nights per academic semester. Additional shifts are available and can be scheduled based off of staff schedule or added to individuals schedule as it fits within your availability. Working hours and time off are flexible. This position is a great match for those with classes or who are seeking supplemental work. Individuals working are expected to create and maintain a safe and nurturing environment for the children in our care.
Responsibilities and Roles
Staff are expected to provide age-appropriate care that may include feeding, changing diapers, help toileting and dressing, maintaining a safe and secure environment, napping, playing with children, and interacting with church members, staff, and children with a positive attitude.
Staff are expected to be available 1-2 shifts per week outside of Sundays to contribute to Children's Ministry organization and preparation. These tasks include maintaining cleanliness, organizing crafts or curriculum, ensuring items are damage-free/restocked, preparing for large children's events, and other tasks assigned.
Expected hours for this position range from 5 hours to 20 hours per week based on availability.

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
