Facilities Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities management, maintenance, and mechanical knowledge. This role is crucial for ensuring that our facilities and vehicles are safe, efficient, and well-maintained while supervising a team of maintenance staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate schedules for repairs and preventive maintenance for the Church, it's grounds and the parsonage.
• Fabricate and repair equipment as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
• Follow a maintenance budget including utilities, janitorial and maintenance supplies and maintain energy saving measures throughout the Church complex
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory management.
• Attend trustees meetings as requested.

Requirements

• Proven experience in facilities management or a related field.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform minor hands-on repairs and maintenance.
• Proficient in using a variety of tools.
• Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and understand all things related to facility operations.
• A proactive approach to safety and compliance within the workplace.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
