Worship Leader

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Worship Leader to join our community. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a vibrant worship environment, guiding congregational singing, and mentoring team members. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to educate others in worship practices, ensuring that all participants feel engaged and uplifted.

Responsibilities

• Lead congregational worship through music, prayer, and teaching.
• Develop and implement creative worship services that reflect the values of our community.
• Mentor and train worship team members, fostering their musical and spiritual growth.
• Collaborate with pastoral staff to align worship themes with sermon topics.
• Organize rehearsals, ensuring all team members are prepared and supported.
• Communicate effectively with the congregation regarding worship initiatives and events.
• Educate the congregation on the significance of worship practices and music in spiritual life.
• Maintain an inclusive environment where all voices are heard and valued.

Requirements

• Proven experience in leading worship within a church or faith-based setting.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to mentor individuals in musical skills and spiritual development.
• Proficiency in playing an instrument (e.g., guitar, piano) is preferred.
• A deep understanding of various worship styles and traditions.
• A passion for educating others about worship practices and theology.
• Commitment to personal spiritual growth and development.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $35,000.00 per year
