First Urology is seeking a dynamic and organized administrative medical professional to schedule surgeries and provide direct communication and support to our patients. The Surgery Scheduler works closely with our physicians to ensure the most efficient and highest level of exceptional quality care.

Responsibilities include:
- Assist physicians with scheduling surgeries and procedures
- Serves as primary contact for patient calls, answering patient questions, explaining procedures and communicating pre-op instructions
- Coordinates all surgeries scheduled with hospitals and surgical centers.
- Schedules in office procedures.
- Monitors physician vacation schedules.
Schedule
- 8-hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No nights
- No weekends
Job Type: Full-time

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated data entry and pc skills, advanced software use including MS Office
- Previous surgery scheduling experience is a MUST
- Knowledge of insurance and benefits
- Ability to effectively multi-task and remain organized
