Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Busser to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our dining area is clean, organized, and welcoming for guests. As a Busser, you will assist servers and kitchen staff by maintaining the cleanliness of tables and dining areas, contributing to an exceptional dining experience.
Duties
- Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave to prepare for the next customers.
- Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to tables as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping and mopping floors as required.
- Help with setting up and breaking down dining areas for special events or busy shifts.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines while handling food items.
- Support the overall hospitality efforts of the restaurant by being attentive to guest needs.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of basic food handling practices is a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A commitment to cleanliness and attention to detail is essential for this role.
- Equipped with a spray bottle, sturdy tray and clean cloth towel, a First Watch Busser uses magician-like moves to clean re-set tables within 3 minutes
- Communicate well with others and believe in the importance of teamwork
- Clear, clean, sanitize & reset tables in under 3 minutes
- Update and communicate to Hosts & Servers when tables are available for seating
- Perform other duties such as light housekeeping, rolling silverware, restroom cleanliness, etc.

Pay: $7.25 - $16.00 per hour
