Duties
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all items are stored properly after cleaning.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and cleaning up spills in the dining area.
- Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock is low.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation practices.
- Support catering events by ensuring that all necessary items are cleaned and ready for service.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
