- Enter and apply mortgage, commercial, agriculture and consumer payments in system
- Code payments to ensure funds are credited on the loan in the correct accounts
- Handle incoming phone transfers and credit card cash advance payments
- Process batch loan payments and sort and process mailed payments
- Assist loan officer in answering payment questions, pull titles, extend payment dates
- Assist with processing new loans, advances and extensions
- Enter floor plan payments in Xperience
- Process loan extensions including updating due dates, interest calculation and renewals
- Process participations and escrows to distribute funds accordingly
- Draft customer letters regarding various follow up communications
- Process paid off loans
- Audit all previous day’s payments and correct errors as needed
- Answer phones, greet customers and provide courteous customer service
- Scan & Index loan documents into Synergy
- Remain up-to-date with banking laws, regulations and the Bank’s policies and procedures, including Bank Secrecy Act compliance
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- One year of banking, customer service or cashier related work experience preferred
- Knowledge of accounting principles
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
- Ability to work independently
- Demonstrate written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage time effectively between priorities
- High degree of attention to detail and accuracy
- Computer processing skills and knowledge of Microsoft programs (i.e. Excel, Word)
