What You Will Do:
Bachelor's Degree Information technology, data, business information systems, analytics, or related field (or equivalent professional experience) is preferred. Required
Experience Level Experience Details Required/Preferred
3-5 years SQL database design, SSIS, SSRS Required
1-3 years Experience with Python and GitHub (or equivalent) Preferred
1-3 years Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies Preferred

What You Will Do:
- Research, Develop and Implement Methods for data extraction, integration, and transformation to inform business decisions, realize cost savings, reduce risk, and generate operational efficiencies
- Support Delivery of Business Intelligence to the company via report design and development and the implementation BI systems
- Collaborate with peers, management and/or internal business unit representatives as appropriate to design, develop, and implement data-oriented business solutions
- Design, build, and oversee maintenance of data systems
- Document key data processes, data flow diagrams, and maintain code repository
- Provide mentorship and support to the Data Engineer I role, act as a peer-resource to share knowledge and cross train
- Improve data reliability and quality
- Apply continuous learning to gain knowledge of best practices, current and emerging development trends and techniques to application development
- Ability to communicate clearly to various levels within the organization.
- General knowledge and understanding of the financial services and/or information technology industries is required
- Possesses intermediate knowledge in the fields of data science, database design, data analytics and/or business information systems
- Advanced-level familiarity with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel)
- Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
- Resiliency and ability to work in a highly time-sensitive environment
- Adaptability and comfort with periodic change
- Ability to work independently to gather information
