Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Lead a segment of the Application Development Group, developing and delivering solutions for stakeholders across the Firm
- Build and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders in the Front Office
- Collaborate with other members of the team to create solutions for the needs of the Firm
- Design, develop, and maintain secure, reliable and robust applications to support OHA s business activities
- Participate in firmwide technology architecture initiatives
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies
- Learn and adapt to changes in requirements from the business
- In-Office Requirement: Employees are required to follow the in-office work schedule. Currently, managers in the IT Department in New York follow a hybrid model where employees work in-office Monday through Thursday. Employees have the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays. This schedule is subject to change based on organizational needs and policies.
- Must be available to work after hours, when necessary, which could include nights and/or weekends
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Minimum of 15 years recent experience in applications development, with a minimum of 3 years leading a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar discipline
- Understanding of design patterns, C# with LINQ, knowledge of React a plus
- Knowledge of relational database design and advanced SQL
- Comfortable with Excel and with Excel VBA
- Experience with serverless cloud development (AWS is preferred, but Azure is acceptable), Azure DevOps experience is a plus
- Experience in aspects of asset management, with a specific focus on credit research
