Job Overview
MUST HAVE 1 YR LVN EXPERIENCE in a SNF or Acute Care: Easy hiring process. We can get you started working right away. We are seeking immediate openings for a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. ALL SHIFTS ARE 12HRS WITH THE FIRST 8 HRS PAID AT $35.00 PER HR AND THE LAST 4 ARE TIME AND A HALF AT $52.50 PER HR. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in an IN-HOME setting. As an LVN, you will play a crucial role in supporting patients through their healthcare journey, ensuring adherence to medical standards, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions or side effects.
- Provide direct patient care, including wound care, vital sign monitoring, and assistance with daily living activities.
- Collaborate with registered nurses and physicians to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, medication usage, and post-discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards within the healthcare facility.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of in home health care/ hospice care principles and practices.
- Proficient in medication administration techniques and understanding of pharmacology.
- Excellent patient care skills with a focus on empathy and communication.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating leadership qualities when necessary.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient information and care plans.
