POSITION OVERVIEW
We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable/Billing Specialist to join our fast-growing C2H Air & Electric Team. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude and strong problem-solving skills, as well as a high level of customer service.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Invoice all service orders submitted to billing by dispatch, major projects, and preventive maintenances
- Enter invoices on customer third party platforms and monitor for corrections and updates
- Support AIA billing for the Construction Department by printing, gathering signatures, notarizing, and submitting monthly construction pay applications by the twentieth of every month
- Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date
- Make collection calls by examining invoices that are late for payments
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger with the general ledger
- Work closely with other departments to resolve billing issues or disputes
- Monitor incoming payments and ensure they are applied correctly
- Make electronic or cash deposits to company bank accounts
- Generate, maintain and process Preventative Maintenance Agreements
- Process all New Customer Request Forms timely, verifying proper signature/authorizations received with completed W-9, entering, and documenting in system and maintaining paper records
- Provide weekly AR report to the Accounting Manager regarding aging or any issues concerning receivables

ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT
This position reports to the local accounting manager and works closely with the local branch leader and team.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or 3 years' experience in accounting
- Mechanical billing experience preferred
- AIA billing experience preferred
- Excellent computer skills, Excel experience required, Adobe experience preferred
- Must be detail-oriented
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and make sure work is completed properly and efficiently
- Excellent organization and problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in fast paced office setting
- Takes gentle care of all company owned equipment and assets
- Ability to work overtime as necessary
- Working knowledge of BuildOps, a plus

Environmental Requirements
Will be required to work in a field environment, and multiple customer sites on a daily basis.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use their hands to operate the computer keyboard reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is continually required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
