POSITION OVERVIEW
We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Chiller Technician II to join our fast-growing R&W Team. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude and strong problem-solving skills, as well as an active EPA Certification.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform routine, and unscheduled, maintenance and repair of commercial systems including air-cooled chillers, centrifugal chillers, pumps, cooling towers, air handler units, valves, fan coil units, variable air volume systems, etc
- Diagnose and repair of machine and equipment defects including electronic, mechanical, and electrical components related to these systems
- Inspect and test system components to ensure proper operation, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards
- Conduct preventive maintenance, repair, installation, general servicing, and troubleshooting of mechanical HVAC systems
- Assist in installing, retrofitting, and commissioning commercial chiller systems and related HVAC equipment
- Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to assess and repair HVAC systems
- Service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial/industrial Chiller and Refrigeration Equipment
- Comfortable and knowledgeable in electrical including electrical components, timers, contactors, relays
- Adhere to safety protocols and comply with regulatory requirements related to HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Responsible for high levels of customer satisfaction through direct, on-site, customer interface
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations to clients regarding maintenance schedules, energy efficiency, and system improvement
- Prepare and present detailed service reports to customers

ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT
This position reports to the local service manager and is responsible for engaging with the service team and all of our customers.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver License w/acceptable driving record
- Active EPA Certification
- 5 years’ of experience in a commercial HVAC setting with Chillers
- OSHA 10 certification
- Technical training in HVAC or Refrigeration
- Available to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use their hands. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is continually required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
