POSITION OVERVIEW
Kenyon & Partners is an established mechanical service company that is growing at a fast pace. We have been in business for 23 years servicing Central Florida. Services include design, construction and repairs to commercial HVAC systems including DX systems, chillers, dedicated outside air units (DOAS), etc. in a commercial environment. We are seeking a full time Senior Controls Technician.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide excellent communication with clients
- Communicate with and work effectively with a team
- Install building automation devices and network wiring
- Troubleshoot problems and issues with building automation equipment
- Makes repairs to systems, replace parts as needed, and correct wiring issues
- Operate and troubleshoot software for building automation systems, make corrections to programming, and commission devices
- Follow lockout/tag out procedures and shut down equipment according to OSHA requirements and company safety rules
- Set up and operate ladders, workspace, and machinery to perform the required task
- Create graphics for systems and write control algorithms
SKILLS
- At least 10 years' experience installing and programming DDC control systems.
- Knowledge of various mechanical systems including DX equipment, DOAS units, and chillers.
- EPA refrigerant certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of specific DDC interface devices such as: Carrier, Johnson, Trane, Distech, Tridium, Honeywell, VEDs energy valves, etc.
- Must have experience with programming control systems.
- Good customer service skills, ability to take directions, work well with others, and strong attention to detail is required.
- Previous service experience is a plus.

ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT
The Construction Administrative Assistant will perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the construction department managers and supervisors to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Active EPA certificate
- Minimum of 10 years experience in Install, preferred
- Visual acuity sufficient to read instructions, wiring diagrams, blueprints, to install and replace HVAC equipment and parts
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate, or learn to operate, all necessary tools and equipment
- Available to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed
- Ability to frequently lift 75 pounds and ability to lift and regularly carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Sufficient physical ability to work in awkward places and from ladders or scaffolding as required by projects
- Physical ability to endure high and low outside temperatures

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate the computer keyboard and telephone, reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
