POSITION OVERVIEW
We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Installation Mechanic II to join our fast-growing R&W Team. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude and strong problem-solving skills, as well as a high level of customer service.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Independently install equipment and duck work
- Complete paperwork daily, and record materials used on each job, in an accurate manner
- Coordinate with general contractors in other trades on installing equipment and duct work
- Ability to layout roof curbs
- Ability to fabricate duct fittings and lay out job without supervision
- Ability to read blueprints and lay out duct
- Create a Material list off of blueprints
- Perform all jobs with safety first in mind
ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Elite level of customer service, to ensure we continue to be the FirstCall our customers make for their HVAC needs
ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT
This position reports to the local branch leader and is responsible for engaging with the install team and all of our customers.
Qualifications
- 3-6 years of experience in install mechanic
- Valid Driver's License w/acceptable driving record
- OSHA 10 required
- Available to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret State Mechanical Codes
- Ability to frequently lift 75 pounds and ability to lift and regularly carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Sufficient physical ability to work in awkward places and from ladders or scaffolding as required by projects

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimal numbers. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Mental stamina for problem-solving and prioritizing multiple tasks.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use their hands. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is continually required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
