POSITION OVERVIEW
We are currently seeking an experienced Plumbing Service Manager that will provide support to the plumbing team by coordinating activities related to all service and projects and ensure the continuity and efficiency of each project from start to finish through clear communication with all parties involved. This role will handle multiple projects and services within a fast-paced environment and can adapt to constant changes and challenges. The ideal candidate is highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and teams at once without day-to-day guidance.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and supervise Plumbing Construction Projects from inception to completion
- Schedule and coordinate with suppliers
- Communicate with clients regarding service and projects to ensure peak customer satisfaction
- Deliver projects according to client needs and budget
- Lead the crew, be accountable for the team’s assigned work
- Understand and consistently apply company policies
- Follow project plans and schedules and direct daily and weekly activities to meet production goals
- Manage plumbing project and service team including dispatch, estimators, installers, and technicians
- Report on budget and production variances and adjust as needed
- Ensure that the completed work meets standards and recommend work processes that will improve productivity and product quality
- Advise project billing with progress of construction
- Remain in direct daily contact with dispatch to ensure that jobs are being scheduled efficiently

ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT
The Plumbing Service Manager will oversee jobs from beginning to completion, ordering material, managing install crews, planning and execution of the jobs, and support of admin team in billing and customer service.
Qualifications
- 3 years of HVAC and project management experience
- 3 years of experience in customer service
- Team leader with excellent diplomatic and communication skills, able to handle and resolve conflicts effectively in a firm but fair manner
- Experience of Microsoft Office software
- Experience with BuildOps software
- Valid driver’s license

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Environmental Requirements
Will be required to work in a field environment, and multiple customer sites on a daily basis.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use their hands to operate the computer keyboard reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is continually required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
