Evansville Harley-Davidson is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Assistant Sales Manager to join our team who will be responsible for helping run a profitable and efficient sales department and have a strong desire to succeed. Duties - Assistant Sales Manager:

• Support the Sales Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the sales department
• Assist in managing and motivating the sales team to achieve individual and department-wide goals
• Help ensure a smooth and efficient sales process for customers
• Train and develop sales staff, providing coaching and guidance to enhance performance
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all dealership products and services
• Help monitor and manage customer inquiries and leads to ensure timely follow-up
• Assist in creating and implementing sales strategies and campaigns
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and resolving issues
• Track and report sales performance, making recommendations for improvements
• Support the Sales Manager in maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local laws governing retail motorcycle sales
• Collaborate with other departments, including Finance and Service, to improve the overall customer experience
• Other duties, as assigned
  
  
  

Qualifications/Requirements - Assistant Sales Manager:

• At least one year of experience in sales or a related role preferred (automotive, retail, etc.)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Professional appearance and strong work ethic
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Current, valid motorcycle license (preferred)

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident
