Essential duties:

• Responsible for returning a satisfactory profit on dealer capital invested in parts inventory through proper purchasing, inventory control, security and pricing.
• Maintains balanced inventory for service department
• Sets pricing to generate gross profit while maintaining customer loyalty
• Establishes inventory levels for maximum turnover and minimizes obsolescence.
• Ensures proper tagging
• Supervises stock order procedures and sets policies for special orders.
• Analyzes sales, expenses, and inventory to maintain profit goals.
• Provides high-quality service to internal and external customers
• Collaborates with service managers for timely parts turnaround.
• Attends managers and departmental meetings.
• Analyzes operations and revises storage layout for effectiveness.
• Provides technical assistance with parts inquires
• Ensures efficient paperwork flow and directs shipping/receiving efforts.
• Monitors daily reports
• Ensures customer satisfaction and handles complaints as per guidelines
• Ensures proper accounting for dealership purchases and assists in collecting past-due accounts.
• Supervises custodians and enforces safety requirements.
• Complies with federal, state, and local regulations affecting parts sales.
• Maintains a professional appearance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Forecasts department goals and strives to meet them.
• Prepares and administers the annual operating budget.
  
  
  

Requirements - Parts & Inventory Advisor:

• Required: Auto parts & inventory advisor experience
• Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills
• A good work ethic and positive attitude
• Valid driver's license and insurance
