Reporting Analyst
We are seeking a detail-oriented Reporting Analyst that can multi-task and quickly adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing, and growing business environment. We are looking for a Reporting Analyst to develop reports and dashboards, provide insights based on the data, and perform in-depth analysis on sales and commissions data. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, have excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Analyze commission statements and data, identify trends/inconsistencies, pull insights, and summarize in reports that can be used for further research and tracking
- Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities in commission data along with actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track commission payouts and performance.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to understand reporting requirements.
- Generate ad-hoc reports and presentations to support management decision-making.
- Maintain logic and refresh data for weekly/monthly reporting.
- Organize policy and commission data into presentation-ready reports.
- Perform analysis using company’s key metrics and create tracking/reporting, where needed.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reporting activities
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- Proven experience in data analysis and reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Good time management skills, ability to prioritize multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, self-directed environment.
- Perform analysis on and manipulate large datasets.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
