What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics and Fleet Manager position at FirstFleet Inc?
FirstFleet is a national trucking company with 2500 trucks in 29 states. Our Lenexa, KS facility is in need of a Fleet Manager. A CDL-A license is preferred.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Tracking and scheduling of Drivers & Freight
- Customer communications
- Email Communication
- Telephone Communication
- Monitoring Hours of Service
- Monitoring inbound paperwork
- Experience with TMW preferred but not required
Job Requirements
- Computer Skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, Windows)
- TMW system knowledge preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication skills
- Capacity to work from home when needed, this is not a work from home position.
- Multiple locations to manage: one bakery and two distribution centers, one in Lenexa and one in Bridgeton, MO. Ability to travel and stay overnights. Expected travel when needed to the Bridgeton, MO DC for training and evaluations
- Experience: Must have 5 years of industry management experience.
CDL-A license-preferred.
