Position Summary
Operating Room Assistant Nurse Manager manges the OR Front Desk command center by leading the team and managing the evening surugical schedule.
Responsibilities
- Manages Front Desk Operations.
- On-boards surgical cases during the evening shift.
- Manages the RN's, Surgical Techs, and Operative Clinical Techs on the Evening Shift.
- Assigns staff to each surgery based on competency and skill set.
- Manages direct reports through evaluations and corrective actions.
- Prioritizes surgical cases based on posting and urgency.
- Partners with CO CRNA and Anesthesiologist during the shift to manage the surgery schedule.
- Answers and directs incoming calls to the Front Desk.
Qualifications
- RN, BSN
- BCLS
- 2-3 years of Operating Room experiance, RN and/or CST.
