Overview
RN will facilitate and provide care to patients in our busy and fast paced cardiology clinic.
Responsibilities
Room patients, reconcile medications and obtain basic vital signs (weight, BP, EKG, etc.). Triage patient phone calls. Monitor lab results/report these to physician. Review test results with patient as instructed by physician. Manage prescription refills with patient/pharmacy/physician. Oversee patients' charts for appointment (make sure all records are in chart/referrals in chart/any test results in chart)/ Pre-load information into Epic. Make sure patients are appropriately scheduled according to guidelines. Maintains BLS & ACLS certification.
Qualifications
Current RN/BLS/ACLS Three years clinic/medical/surgical nursing experience required. Cardiology clinic experience preferred.
