Lab Assistant Director Job Summary
- Responsible for coordinating, and supervising all aspects related to Pre-Analytical Services (specimen collection and processing, laboratory specimen receiving, customer service, outpatient services, reference lab, and courier)
- Includes hiring staff, training, scheduling, budgeting, maintaining technical policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies.

Lab Assistant Director Job Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology or associate degree in a related scientific field.
- Must be certified by ASCP (or equivalent) and a minimum of five (5) years experience with proven technological and academic abilities.
- A combination of previous laboratory experience, computer skills, technical skills and management experience in excess of the minimum work experience may substitute for degree requirements.
