Nuclear Medicine Technologist
We are looking for a dynamic Nuclear Medicine Tech to join our new Nuclear Medicine department at Montgomery Memorial Hospital in Troy. This Full Time, Day Shift position. NO WEEKENDS, NIGHTS or HOLIDAYS.

Responsibilities
- Prepares facilities in accordance with procedural requirements; calibrates equipment as required by the institution.
- Calculate, measure and record radiation dosage or radiopharmaceuticals received, used and disposed, using computer and following physician’s prescription.
- Preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals orally or by injection or inhalation.
- Starts patient IV's.
- Explaining the imaging procedure to patients, answering questions, and ensuring their comfort while placing them in the appropriate position for scanning.
- Accomplish computer processing and imaging enhancement.
- Provides images, data analysis, and patient information to the physician for diagnostic interpretation.
- Monitoring the departments daily, monthly, and quarterly QC under the guidelines of the NRC.

Qualifications
- Must be Nuclear Medicine registered either through NMTCB or ARRT
- BCLS required
- Has training in NM studies such as Nuclear Stress Test, Bone Scans, HIDA Scans, Lung scans, Thyroid Scans, Liver Scans, and Brain Scans
