What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Float Pool Women's & Children's position at FirstHealth of the Carolinas, Inc.?
Overview
To support the provision of clinically excellent patient care across the FirstHealth of the Carolinas through an internal nursing resource. Professional RNs who have two years of experience in the clinical area of Women's and Children's, meet the requirements of the associated job description and complete brief, float pool orientation requirements are eligible to participate.
Responsibilities
Float Pool are expected to be cross trained and competent in multiple clinical areas in chosen category, and float across Women's and Children's FirstHealth areas. Icluded are Labor and Delivery, Mother Baby, Pediatrics and NICU.
Qualifications
The following qualifications are the minimum requirements necessary to perform the essential functions of this position:
- Current, active North Carolina RN license or RN multi-state licensure privilege through the NCBON without restrictions; Nurse Licensure Compact required.
