Position Summary
Responsible for planning, organizing, directing and coordinating FirstHealth of the Carolinas Safety and Emergency Management program.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Safety/Emergency Management or related field. Masters Degree preferred. Must have working knowledge of Life Safety Codes. NFPA Codes, OSHA Standards and DNV Standards. The preferred candidate will have FEMA course certs: IS 100, IS 200, IS 700, ICS 300, ICS 400. Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program training, Human Subject Protections Certification as well as OSHA Hazardoujs Waste Operations trainging required. Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP) preferred. At least 4 years experience in safety and emergency management in a heatlhcare environment required with at least 1 year of leadership experience preferred.
