- Assist the Coordinator in organizing and implementing volunteer activities, including but not limited to volunteer meetings, retention activities, and training/inservices.
- Assign appropriate patient/family and bereavement volunteers based on assessment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date volunteer personnel files.
- Document ongoing patient/family contact/visits meticulously.
- Promote and actively participate in community outreach activities to raise awareness and support for our services.
- Provide administrative support to the Volunteer Services Coordinator as needed.
- Collaborate with the hospice care team to ensure seamless integration of volunteer services.
- Associate's Degree in Human Services or a related field required.
- Two years of customer service experience.
- Experience in hospice/healthcare settings preferred.
- Valid NC Driver's license with a good driving record.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
