Position Summary
The director of pharmacy, FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital - Hoke Campus, is responsible for oversight of all pharmacy operations, clinical pharmacy services, and safe medication use for our patients.
Reporting to FirstHealth’s administrative director of pharmacy, Hoke Campus’ pharmacy director is supported by the network of FirstHealth pharmacy leadership and enjoys strong collaborative relationships with providers and other disciplines.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about maintaining top percentile employee engagement and patient safety while constantly improving workflows and services to support sustained growth. The director will be knowledgeable of NC pharmacy law, rules of the Board of Pharmacy and other regulatory requirements. Hospital expansion is planned soon to increase inpatient bed capacity and complement an already very busy emergency department.
After-hour services, such as drug information, order review and medication profiling are provided seamlessly by the Moore Campus. Participation in administrative on-call rotation is expected, though direct after-hour response for pharmacy matters is infrequent due to exceptionally strong central support.
Located near Fort Bragg/Liberty, FirstHealth's Hoke Campus hospital location is an easy commute from both Fayetteville and communities in Southern Pines/Pinehurst.

Qualifications
Required
- Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy
- Pharmacy licensure in North Carolina
- Hospital pharmacy experience
- Proficiency with MS Office application: Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, MS365
Preferred
- Hospital pharmacy management experience
- PGY1 residency
- Experience with Epic Willow
- Experience with Omnicell automated dispensing cabinets
