Hospitalist PRN Opportunity at State-of-the-Art Facility Just Outside of Fayetteville, NC!
FirstHealth of the Carolinas is a private, community-based health care network serving the mid-Carolinas, nationally recognized as a top 150 place to work in health care by Becker’s Healthcare - is seeking experienced Hospitalists to practice at our newest campus in Raeford, NC on PRN basis.
Position Highlights
- Practice autonomously at our 8-bed hospital just 15 minutes outside of Fayetteville.

- Stable in-house Hospitalist program has been in place for 15 years – strong core group, excellent retention, collegial environment.
- Dedicated Nocturnists on staff via telemedicine. Hospitalist service also includes Intensivists, Neuro, Peds, and Geriatrics at our flagship hospital in Pinehurst, NC.
- Supportive administration, collegial relationships with Primary Care and specialists, and easy access to sub-specialists within the system.
- Efficient patient transfer process with our regional referral center, FirstHealth’s flagship hospital in Pinehurst, NC.

Qualifications
- Completion of ACGME- or AOA-approved Internal Medicine residency program.
- Board Certification through ABMS or AOA.
- Superior clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a high acuity Hospitalist program highly desired.
- Clean background, unrestricted NC medical licensure, NC DEA and ACLS certification.
