Treasury Analyst

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

The Treasury Analyst will ensure that all daily deadlines for cash reporting and wire requests are met and that transactions are recorded on a timely basis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Initiate cash transfers and wire requests.
  • Prepare documents and reports for accounts and cash management services.
  • Reconcile daily transactions using applicable reports, spreadsheets, online banking and established procedures.
  • Assemble Daily Cash Position reporting utilizing TMS, banking portals, and Excel.
  • Research issues and take corrective action, as appropriate.
  • Assemble data and other information for projects, special reports, summaries and related documents.
  • Assist Treasurer/Treasury Manager with special projects as assigned.
  • Assist Treasurer with Forecast reporting
  • Research and recover outstanding unclaimed property refunds for all owned entities
  • Deposit refund checks via remote deposit within banking portals and prepare appropriate reporting for accounting reconciliation
  • Bank portal administrator

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Primarily working indoors, office environment, on a hybrid basis.
  • May sit for several hours at a time.
  • Prolonged exposure to computer screens.
  • Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • College degree, BS or BA
  • Minimum 2 years office experience in banking operations or accounting field
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), must be comfortable using vlookups and pivot tables

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • CTP designation
  • Experience using Yardi or similar property management program
  • Experience using FIS/Integrity or similar treasury management system (TMS)
  • Experience working in property management, real estate or similar program
  • Experience working in a fast pace, high-growth company

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

  • Clerical— Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
  • Economics and Accounting— Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
