Job Summary:
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for building relationships with referral sources, healthcare professionals, and potential clients. The individual will be responsible for driving sales and marketing initiatives to promote our senior care services in Northshore and Northwest Suburbs. This position requires a dynamic individual with a passion for sales, marketing, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. The Marketing Specialist (Outside Sales) is responsible for market development, intake management, and facilitating patient care transitions from healthcare settings to home healthcare services.
Marketing/Networking Specialist responsibilities include:
- Understands and adheres to established FirstLight policies and procedures.
- Develop and execute strategies to generate leads and expand client base
- Create/Develop a Sales Plan and drive to execute the Sales Plan.
- Maintains calendars and databases on marketing programs inclusive of prospects, advertising, referrals, mail campaigns, lists, and home care and home shows.
- Completes appropriate visit records in a timely manner as per FirstLight policy.
- May perform initial evaluation of services for potential clients.
- Assists in the coordination of care for client services.
- Reports changes in client condition to agency employees involved in the client’s care.
- Participates in the quality assurance reviews and evaluations of the agency’s services
- All other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have:
- H.S. Diploma or GED, college preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and marketing within the senior home care industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Previous networking experience and sales experience required.
- Prior to community involvement.
- Computer skills including but not limited to MS Office, MS Excel, Calendar, and Scheduling programs.
- Experience with the Senior Care community such as long-term care, assisted living, or home care is beneficial.
- Have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick and elderly.
- Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas.
- Referral Growth: Increase the number of referrals from healthcare providers and community partners by 10% year-over-year.
- Conversion Rates: Maintain a referral-to-admission conversion rate of at least 80%.
- Client Retention: Achieve a 90% or higher retention rate within the first six months of care.
- Documentation Compliance: Ensure 100% accuracy in documentation and timely submission within 24 hours of transition.
- Customer Satisfaction: Maintain patient and family satisfaction scores above 4.5/5.0 as measured by surveys and feedback.
- Outreach Effectiveness: Conduct at least 30 outreach calls or visits weekly to new and existing referral sources.
Salary : $3,500 - $4,200
