Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' overall well-being.
- Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental and physical health.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client care and services provided.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other health care professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to improve caregiving skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in caregiving or health care preferred.
- Previous experience in home care or a similar health care setting is a plus.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with clients and families.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor with a passion for helping others.
- Must be reliable and accountable with a strong work ethic.
