About the Role :

Are you ready to play a pivotal role in coordinating compassionate care? We’re looking for an enthusiastic Intake Care Coordinator / Scheduler to join our team! This role combines your talent for client interaction, scheduling skills, and a knack for organization to ensure our clients receive top-notch care.

What You’ll Do :

Conduct client intake calls, assess needs, and schedule in-home assessments.
Showcase FirstLight Home Care’s benefits and services with excellent customer service.
Maintain and update client data accurately in our system.
Visit clients to introduce FirstLight and create personalized service plans.
Schedule client appointments and align caregiver availability to client needs.
Create, manage, and release weekly caregiver schedules, ensuring full coverage.
Handle day-to-day scheduling adjustments and communicate changes with clients and caregivers.
Be on-call for emergencies and scheduling issues after hours or on weekends.
Supervise care quality through in-home assessments and caregiver introductions.
Report changes in client conditions and participate in quality assurance reviews.
Work collaboratively to enhance service delivery and support continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For :

High school diploma or GED, plus 2 years in the healthcare / home care field or equivalent experience.

Prior experience in caregiving and scheduling ( Wellsky Personal Care Highly preferred).

Proven management experience.

Strong skills in Microsoft Office / Google Suite.

Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Valid driver’s license and adequate auto insurance.

Ability to think critically and escalate issues when needed.
