Summary
As an In Home Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will play a vital role in supporting clients in their homes. This position is essential in helping individuals maintain their independence and dignity while receiving the compassionate care they deserve.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support and assistance to clients in their daily activities.
- Monitor patients' health and report any changes to the appropriate personnel.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to clients' dietary needs.
- Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing and grooming.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
- Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs, including dementia care when necessary.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients at all times.
Requirements
- Experience in home care or a related field preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate nature.
- Ability to perform basic first aid and respond effectively in emergencies.
- Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and long-term care practices is a plus.
