As a Personal Care Aide at FirstLight Home Care, you will play a vital role in supporting clients to live comfortably and independently in their own homes. This position is essential for providing compassionate care to seniors and individuals recovering from various conditions.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health status to appropriate personnel.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Help clients with mobility and transportation needs as required.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations while providing care.
Requirements
- Previous experience in personal care or related field is preferred.
- Certification in CPR is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Knowledge of senior care practices and home health standards is a plus.
