Summary
As a Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to clients in their homes. This position is essential for helping individuals maintain their dignity and independence while receiving the compassionate care they deserve.
Responsibilities
Taking care of elderly male client 6- 8 hours a day.
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, incontinence care, eating assistance and grooming.
- Administer medications as required.
- Assist clients with mobility to promote independence.
- Observe and report changes in clients' conditions to ensure appropriate care.
- Support clients emotionally through companionship and social interaction.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain client confidentiality.
Requirements
- Prior experience in patient care or caregiving is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with clients on a personal level.
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and CPR certification is a plus.
