Caregiver (Part/Full Time)

Ideal Candidate

• Previous caregiving experience (2 year min)
• A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others
• A commitment to being present and providing quality care
• Empathy, patience, kindness and respect
• Ability to carry out direction, both verbal and written
• Ability to effectively manage the demands of the job.
• Be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills.
• Follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help clients.

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship and conversation
• Preparing and serving meals
• Help with bathing and grooming
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility
• Help clients with physical therapy exercises
• Shopping, errands and transportation
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Skills

• Proven experience as a caregiver (2 year min)
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong work ethics
• Physical endurance may be required for some clients
• High school diploma or equivalent

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
