Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential care and assistance to individuals in need, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility support.
• Provide patient care while respecting resident rights and dignity.
• Perform heavy lifting as needed to assist clients in moving or transferring safely.
• Monitor and document clients health and behavioral changes, reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff members.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for all clients.
• Uphold HIPAA regulations by maintaining confidentiality of client information at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a nursing home or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and assist individuals with mobility challenges.
• Understanding of client rights and the importance of dignity in care provision.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
