What are the responsibilities and job description for the Companion/Caregiver (Weekly Pay) position at FirstLight Home Care?
Are you compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others? We’re looking for caring individuals to join our team as caregivers for elderly clients in their homes.
As a caregiver, you’ll provide support with daily activities such as personal care, light housekeeping, companionship, and mobility assistance, all while helping our clients maintain their independence and dignity. Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living tasks (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Monitor and report any changes in client’s health or behavior
Qualifications:
- Previous caregiving experience is a plus, but not required
- Must be dependable, compassionate, and able to communicate effectively
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred (training available)
