Caregiver Needed for Couple - Immediate Hire with Competitive Pay!
Opportunity: FirstLight Home Care of Alameda is seeking a compassionate, patient, and experienced caregiver to assist a couple with their daily needs!
Pay: $22-$25/hour depending on experience
Shift Need (Weekday and Weekend Shifts Available):
- 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Location: Alameda
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have Experience with the Following:
1. Transfers/hoyer lift/mobility assist
2. Hospice Care/bedbound clients
3. Dementia Care
4. Ability to take detailed observation notes every single shift in a paper log/Wellsky app

FirstLight Caregiver Must Haves:
- California Home Care Aide (HCA) certification REQUIRED
- Professional or Extensive Hands On Personal Caregiving Experience
- Transfer Experience
- Dementia Care Experience
- Experience Caring for Bedbound/Hospice Care Clients
- Valid Driver's License, Reliable Transportation and Auto Insurance (if applicable)
- 2 Forms of Identification
- Current TB Screening
- Be Mature and Reliable
- Willing to Submit to a Background Check
What You Will Do as a FirstLight Home Care Caregiver:
- Monitor and record changes in clients' health and report to the appropriate personnel.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming if needed
- Support clients with mobility and transfers.
- Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks.
