What are the responsibilities and job description for the Live-in Caregiver position at FirstLight Home Care?
Are you someone who regularly travels back home, has kids that are grown up, or are just looking to make a difference? Here at FirstLight, we are looking for people with a variety of different backgrounds and experiences to service some of our live-in clients. We have long-term, short-term, and part-time live-ins available.
Requirements
- Having flexible availability and willingness to work across Connecticut
- Are able to work independently
- Are a problem-solver
- Are an effective communicator who can understand the different needs of our clients, family members, conservators, and other responsible parties
- Positive personality with a desire to help
Responsibilities
- Assist the client with their ADLs
- Cooking meals for you and the client
- Light housekeeping
- Med reminders
- Doing tasks according to the care plan
