Working as a CNA with FirstLight Home Care

As a FirstLight Home Care CNA, we will set up a schedule based on your availability, helping you achieve a successful work/life balance. You will have an opportunity to use your talents to help people remain safely in the comfort of their own homes!

How you will be helping people

At Firstlight, we help clients with personal care, companion care, home based tasks as well as helping with errands. We assist with ADL's including Mobility Assistance, Dressing, Eating and Personal Hygiene. We also assist with household tasks such as light housekeeping, laundry, and errand/appointments assistance. Most importantly we are companions, friends, and compassionate caretakers with a big heart for seniors!

Experience and Qualifications…

• CNA or HHA license in good standing in MO or KS - if you are not currently a CNA or HHA you are still welcome to apply!
• At least 1 year experience working as a caregiver, personally or professionally.
• Driver’s License, Automobile Insurance, and reliable transportation
• Experience helping clients with a variety of conditions and needs is a big plus!
• Experience working with PPE and equipment such as a Gait Belt, Trapeze, Hoyer lift and other common assistance devices is also a big plus!
