Private Elderly Caregiver

Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Private Caregiver to Elderly Clients. As a caregiver, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in need. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on someone's life.

Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate personnel
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Escort clients to appointments or social outings as needed
- Follow all resident rights policies and procedures
- Practice behavior management techniques when necessary

Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of patient care principles and practices
- Familiarity with hospice care is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
