Position Overview:
The BP Logix Applications Developer plays a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining digital forms to meet the operational needs of business departments on campus. With a strong focus on BP Logix form development and an expertise working in Oracle databases, this role supports seamless integration, operational reliability, and innovation across campus applications. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical acumen and collaborative approach to develop digital forms and workflows, enhance system functionality, and deliver high-quality solutions tailored to the needs of the College.
Key Responsibilities:
- BP Logix Form Development:
- Lead the development and maintenance of BP Logix forms and workflows to support business process automation.
- Collaborate with business users to design intuitive and efficient digital forms and approval processes.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and optimization of BP Logix workflows to ensure operational efficiency.
- Analyze and optimize form performance for wide-scale college usage.
- Oracle Development Expertise:
- Design and maintain Oracle database objects, including tables, views, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Develop, test, and deploy Oracle PL/SQL scripts to support enterprise application functionality.
- Project Collaboration & Implementation:
- Work with business departments to define technical specifications and ensure alignment with operational needs.
- Act as a technical lead for projects, including implementation of new software solutions and cross-platform integrations.
- Conduct testing, deployment, training, and performance monitoring for enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with functional users and vendors to resolve issues and ensure seamless integrations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years in application development, with significant experience in BP Logix and Oracle development.
- Advanced proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, including the creation and optimization of database structures and processes.
- Expertise in developing workflows and digital forms using BP Logix to automate business processes.
- Strong knowledge of database architecture, including Banner SIS and related Oracle systems.
- Experience with modern integration tools, such as SnapLogic and Alteryx.
Skills & Abilities:
- Expert proficient in developing digital forms and workflows using BP Logix to enhance operational efficiency.
- Advanced SQL knowledge, preferably with direct database development in Oracle PL/SQL scripting, triggers, and stored procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with higher education systems and processes, including Banner SIS and Workday integration.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across technical and functional teams.
- Service-orientated, able to quickly assess and resolve tier 2 and 3 helpdesk tickets to maintain operational effectiveness.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
