A growing firstPRO client in the Supply Chain space is seeking a Finance Representative to join their team. This position focuses on accounts receivable and accounting functions, directly supporting the Finance Manager. Candidates interested in applying should have a strong accounting internship or current or past experience in an AR-centered role. Compensation is up to $28 an hour, and the position is hybrid, with 3 days onsite required.
Job Description: Finance Representative
- Review and allocate trade deductions to the correct category and client in the portal.
- Reconcile actual trade spend with client financial reporting.
- Work with sales leads to resolve deductions with key customers.
- Answer deduction-related questions from clients and provide support.
- Resolve deduction-related issues with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Investigate unplanned charges and work with sales representatives to resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure accurate actualization of trade deductions against planned events in the Business Plan portal.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders (clients, retailers, and sales leads) to maintain clear and effective communication.
Requirements:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in accounting or business or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an AR focused Accounting role, or a strong accounting internship.
- Skills: Proficient in Excel with strong data management capabilities.
- Communication: Strong relationship management and communication skills, able to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
