HR Manager – Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic partner to leadership, aligning HR initiatives with business goals.
- Manage HR functions, including payroll, benefits administration, compliance, and employee relations.
- Oversee UKG Pro (Payroll, Time & Labor, and Performance modules); expertise required.
- Maintain employee records, policies, and compliance reports, including EEO-1 filings and I-9 audits.
- Lead talent acquisition efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, and career fair participation.
- Develop and implement performance management processes to support employee growth.
- Monitor absenteeism and ensure proper documentation for excessive tardiness or leave issues.
- Handle unemployment claims, workers’ compensation cases, and employee verifications.
- Administer benefits, oversee open enrollment, and provide guidance to employees.
- Maintain HR standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with labor laws.
- Support payroll processing and ensure accurate year-end audits and W-2 distribution.
- Partner with management to enhance employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture.
HR Manager – Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field (required).
- 3-5 years of HR and payroll experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Expertise in UKG Pro (Payroll, Time & Labor, and Performance modules) – required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and Word (Mail Merge, Document Tracking).
- Experience with ICIMS (applicant tracking system) is a plus.
Schedule:
Onsite position, requiring a minimum of 45 hours per week.
