Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Infrastructure Operations Manager who thrives in a leadership role and is committed to developing teams, not just managing them. This individual will bring a blend of technical expertise, people development skills, and a customer-centric approach to help us continuously improve and grow our infrastructure operations. As a leader in this role, you will oversee critical infrastructure services across networking, servers, storage, O365, cloud, endpoints, and mobile systems, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of IT services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & People Development: Lead and inspire a diverse team of infrastructure professionals. Focus on coaching and developing individuals, fostering an environment of growth and continuous learning, and empowering team members to reach their full potential.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of key infrastructure components including networking, servers, storage, O365, cloud environments, endpoints, and mobile systems.
- Agile Environment Implementation: Have a proven track record of building out and managing an Agile environment for infrastructure operations. Lead initiatives to introduce and evolve Agile methodologies to ensure continuous improvement, efficiency, and adaptability.
- Project Management: Oversee infrastructure projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budget. Strong project management skills to coordinate cross-functional teams and deliver successful outcomes.
- Resource Management: Manage both human and technical resources efficiently. Ensure that resources are optimally allocated to meet business needs and that the team has the right skills and support to succeed.
- Customer Service Focus: Emphasize a customer-centric approach in all interactions, treating both internal teams and end-users with empathy, respect, and care. Actively listen to stakeholder needs and ensure solutions are delivered with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, proactively identifying opportunities to improve processes, tools, and systems to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of infrastructure operations.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Infrastructure Management with a proven ability to oversee complex infrastructure environments.
- Demonstrated success in building and leading teams in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with networking, servers, storage, O365, cloud services, endpoints, and mobile systems.
- Expertise in managing Agile environments and implementing Agile methodologies within infrastructure operations.
- Skills:
- Strong Project Management skills with a track record of delivering infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent resource management capabilities, ensuring optimal use of both human and technical resources.
- Ability to foster a customer-first mentality across infrastructure operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage, motivate, and support team members at all levels.
- Preferred:
- Familiarity with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) best practices.
- Experience with Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, etc.) and modern enterprise systems.
- Certifications in Agile or Infrastructure Management (such as PMP, ITIL, or Certified ScrumMaster) are a plus.
