firstPRO inc. is looking for an IT Infrastructure Manager in Newark, DE.
This is a full time direct hire opportunity.
- Oversee IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization, networking, and end-user technology.
- Develop and maintain a technology roadmap, ensuring system security, performance, and lifecycle upgrades.
- Implement and enforce IT policies, monitoring tools, and security best practices.
- Provide 24/7 incident management support and escalate issues as needed.
- Manage IT budgets, tracking expenses and capital expenditures.
- Develop infrastructure roadmaps and prioritize projects aligned with business needs.
- Ensure compliance with project management best practices, including vendor negotiations and risk assessments.
- Ensure adherence to SOX, cybersecurity, and corporate IT policies.
- Oversee audits, security assessments, and compliance initiatives.
- Manage disaster recovery planning and vulnerability remediation.
- Hire, train, and develop IT staff, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
- Drive efficiency through structured workflows and strategic initiatives.
- Provide executive updates and hands-on support when necessary.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor s degree in IT or Computer Science, required; Master s degree, preferred
- 10 years of experience supporting IT infrastructure
- 4 years of leadership experience
- Proficient in designing, managing, and optimizing IT infrastructure, including virtualization, network architecture, operating systems, data storage, telecommunications, databases, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery planning.
- Experienced in deploying and maintaining multi-platform environments, leveraging technologies such as Linux, Windows, Active Directory, VMware, Oracle Virtualization, and Microsoft Exchange to enhance system efficiency, security, and resilience.
